From the book "The Artist's Muse" Joy Horowitz took the three stacks of cards out and shuffled - and happily drew the next 3 cards for our group assignments!! Joy gets to pick the next person to draw next month!!


#1 Windows of Opportunity Card #8:
"Create a layer of graffiti with pearlescent ink as a base.
Paint one transparent layer of paint, using either one color or a color scheme, over this.
Draw and paint your subject on top."
and/or

#2 Doors of Awareness Card #7:
"Do a totally nonobjective painting using only geometric shapes.
If you wish, add numbers."
and/or

#3 Circles of Growth Card #6:
"Choose one color from your palette and do a monochromatic painting using as many
varieties of that color as you wish.
If your choose Blue, for example, you could use Phthalo Blue,
Ultramarine Blue and Cerulean Blue.
As for black, white and gray, remember you can add any of them to your
pigments or use them alone to balance you composition."
