From the book "The Artist's Muse" Pat Beans took the three stacks of cards out and shuffeled -
and happily drew the next 3 cards for our group assignments!! Pat gets to pick the next person to draw next month!!


#1 Windows of Opportunity Card #15:
"Texture your paper with matte medium, gesso and gel medium.
Paint your subject over this layer or turn this piece into an abstract painting about texture"
and/or

#2 Doors of Awareness Card #13:
"Combine a tree, a word and a number or numbers.
Try to make the tree like no tree you've ever seen."

#3 Circles of Growth Card #23:
"Do a painting like Velasquez: Use Ivory Black, Yellow Ochre, Burnt Sienna and a touch of Cobalt Blue."
